We celebrated Cs' birthday yesterday. The gang thought that we had neglected his birthday for the past years so we decided to put in some effort in planning one meaningful one for him. I really hoped he loved it! Could see that all of them enjoyed themselves.
Well, there was Chem mock paper in the morning. Went over to Yw's house after I went home to bring the neccessary stuffs for the day's events. Tried to complete my part in Cs' "Bioble". The "Bioble" is a little booklet that includes ultra lame stuffs from us: "Cs and evolution/mutation", "Sacred ways of dressing (male & female)" and lots of Daoming, Dao Lun etc.
We had a very simple lunch (Yw made toasts for us) before leaving for Pasir Ris. We were behind schedule. We were supposed to reach Pasir Ris beach by 1430 hr but we only left Yw's place at 1417 hr. We were going to Pasir Ris beach to kayak.
I felt so uncomfortable with the kayaking - from registration to kayaking in the waters. Apparently it is a rule to be a qualified kayak-er before you can loan the kayaks at the Singapore Sea Sports club. Since all of us (except Yw) are not qualified kayak-ers, Yw had borrowed her friends' membership cards for us. We had to assume another's identity. It was really scary when the person in the office asked about so many things about our kayaking experience. Yw was doing all the answering. Really obvious. I think the man think so too. *shiver* After the registration, we went to kayak of course. The kayaks were very heavy. We had to move them from the club to the shore. It was drizzling when we were out at sea.
I had this fear for the seawater since like forever. I never really liked the feeling of the sand and the idea that fishes and crabs of all shapes and sizes are swimming alongside you. *yuck* Well, the water isn't very clean either. So I guessed I was kind of a spoilsport yesterday. I was so afraid that I would capsize and that I would wander too far out at sea (although I really can't move that darn kayak. I was paddling but I kept going in circles.). Furthermore, the weather was threatening. There were lightning! It poured about 20 minutes after we got into the waters. We went to take shelter at the club. There, there were students from RI. We got a guy to help us take photos with zH's phone. Err...He was quite a horrible photographer. He did not even warn us when he took the picture. o_0 Then came this boy whom the others say behaves like me! x_X
We returned to the beach when the rain subsided. We only had about 30 min to kayak. I managed to control my kayak better this time around. I could move in a straight line! *weee* Yw, Cs and zH were having a great time capsizing themselves esp. zH. Kayaking is so not my cup of tea. The bobbing of the waters made me sick too. *sigh* I am so not cut of to do sea sports. Oh! Did I say that I don't like the ah-pek there? I don't like him.
After kayaking, we walked to Elias Mall to kill time. This is because we wanted to dine at Fisherman's Village but the sky was too bright to have any ambience. We had fries and ice-cream cone at Mac. Later, we strolled back to FV. We were singing "Tong2 Hua4". When we reached FV, it was too dark for any ambience. *haha*
After dinner, we left for Ocha Paradise to have tea. zH and I left for his place to finish the remaining sections of the "Bioble". We had a great time laughing at our own work when we presented the still-incomplete booklet to Cs.
We left the zH's place at around 0010 hr. Yw's father sent us home. *zoom*
To Cs: Hoped that you enjoyed yourself! *huggies*
